cd-hit software package provides suite of programs designed to quickly group sequences, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cd-hit
cd-hit is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cd-hit package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cd-hit *
You will get with cd-hit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
