bootcd-ia64 software package provides bootcd extension to create images that can boot on ia64, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bootcd-ia64
bootcd-ia64 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bootcd-ia64 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bootcd-ia64 *
You will get with bootcd-ia64 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
