How to Install binutils software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

binutils software package provides GNU assembler, linker and binary utilities, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install binutils 

binutils is installed in your system.

Make ensure the binutils package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep binutils *

You will get with binutils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
