How to Install auditd software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

auditd software package provides User space tools for security auditing, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install auditd 

auditd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the auditd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep auditd *

You will get with auditd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
