audacity-data software package provides fast, cross-platform audio editor (data), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install audacity-data
audacity-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the audacity-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep audacity-data *
You will get with audacity-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
