How to Install asterisk software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

asterisk software package provides Open Source Private Branch Exchange (PBX), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install asterisk 

asterisk is installed in your system.

Make ensure the asterisk package were installed using the commands given below,
