assembly-linker software package provides virtual package provided by mono-devel, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install assembly-linker
assembly-linker is installed in your system.
Make ensure the assembly-linker package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep assembly-linker*
You will get with assembly-linker package name, version, architecture and description in a table
