apt-dater software package provides terminal-based remote package update manager, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apt-dater
apt-dater is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apt-dater package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apt-dater *
You will get with apt-dater package name, version, architecture and description in a table
