anthy-el software package provides input method for Japanese - elisp frontend, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install anthy-el
anthy-el is installed in your system.
Make ensure the anthy-el package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep anthy-el *
You will get with anthy-el package name, version, architecture and description in a table
