alien-hunter software package provides Interpolated Variable Order Motifs to identify horizontally acquired DNA, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install alien-hunter
alien-hunter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the alien-hunter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep alien-hunter *
You will get with alien-hunter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
